When a user requests to cancel their subscription, provide them with the following options:
Option 1: Unsubscribe via the Baseplay App
- Open the Baseplay app on your Android device.
- Click on the User Icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Account from the menu.
- Under the Membership & Billing section, click on Cancel Membership.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm the cancellation.
Option 2: Unsubscribe via Google Play Store
- Click on the following link to go directly to Google Play’s subscription management page: Google Play Subscriptions.
- Locate the Baseplay app in the list of subscriptions.
- Click on Manage Subscription.
- Click on Cancel Subscription.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the cancellation.
Additional Notes for Customer Support:
- If the user is unable to find the cancellation option in the Baseplay app, recommend using Option 2 via Google Play.
- If the user has already uninstalled the app, direct them to Option 2.
- Remind users that once they cancel their subscription, they will still have access to the service until the end of their current billing cycle.
- If the user encounters any issues during cancellation, suggest they contact Google Play Support at Google Play Help Center.
